Get Excited!!!

Dirt School will be a bicycle playground and skills park–introducing young riders to off-road cycling skills and preparing them for Burchfield Park’s 12 miles of singletrack trails. In addition to serving kids and families, Dirt School will be used by Burchfield’s popular summer day camps and Capital Youth Cycling’s Adventure Bike Club programs.

Donate to Help Build Dirt School

Partial funding from public and private sources has already been raised, but your support is needed to add the final elements to this project. Sponsorship opportunities are available for the bike repair station, bikes and helmets for kids without and a few additional features.

You can help get kids outside on bikes and prepare them for a lifetime of exercise and fun. Donate to Dirt School today!

Dirt School is a collaborative project from Ingham County Parks, the Mid-Michigan Mountain Biking Association and Capital Youth Cycling.
